Those who have followed the career of Paul George know not only that he has blossomed into one of the NBA’s biggest talents but also know that he spends a great deal of off-court time on the water. In fact, PG even hosted a fishing tournament for his new Thunder teammates back in August. In a tribute to George’s love of fishing, Nike created the Nike PG 1 “Midnight In OKC” PE inspired by fishing in the late summer nights. The colorway is styled in a deep navy suede upper that features a vibrant orange Swoosh and gradient yellow-orange sock liner. The orange and yellow detailing continues in the speckling of the navy midsole. There is no word if this PE will hit retailers. However, Paul George did don the colorway in a Thunder victory over the Mavs on Sunday night, in which PG dropped 37 points and 8 boards.

The LeBron 15 inspired by the birthplace of the King is set to release this weekend to the general public after first being dropped exclusively at a Cleveland pop-up shop. The Nike LeBron 15 “Pride of Ohio” is a tribute to the home state of LeBron James that fans of come to expect with each new rendition of James’ signature shoe. This year’s rendition features a blended black and grey Flyknit upper with deep red accents atop a Taupe Grey midsole. In a special nod to “The ‘Land”, the shoe’s leather tongue pull tab includes a “216” moniker on the interior – the area code of Cleveland.Those looking to cop this latest tribute to the hometown of LeBron can do so on November 18th online at nike.com and at Nike retailers worldwide. The people of Chicago will be getting a special tribute from Nike Sportswear this weekend, as the Nike Air Huarache will be releasing in a Chicago-inspired Orange Blaze colorway. The shoe is completely decked out in an Orange Blaze color that is perfect for Bears fans and features White and Midnight detailing. This new colorway also features a full zipper neoprene tongue and heel tabs donned with the “CHI” moniker. A pin reading, “Have you hugged your foot today?” is also rumored to be included with shoe. These vibrant new Huaraches will release at select Nike retailers on Saturday, November 18th.
