Air Max plus

It’s going to be a busy week in the world of sneakers. Thrasher and Vans team up for their highly anticipated “Flame” Collection, the CLOT x Nike VaporMax expands to Europe after an exclusive Los Angeles pop-up last week, and the Nike Air Foamposite Eggplant returns for the third time since 2009. Other options include a new Nike SF-AF1 Mid colorway, Pharrell’s popular adidas Tennis Hu, and an Air Jordan 11 IE Low in a premium Midnight Navy treatment. Check out the latest Sneakers Releasing This Weekend below and stay tuned for more updates throughout the week.

De’Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings is making quite a name for himself, particularly for pegging himself as a nemesis to the worldly-hyped Lonzo Ball. As one of the fresh faces of Nike Basketball’s massive rookie class, he’s getting special PE treatment from Beaverton as he shows off an incredible Nike Kobe AD PE that may be loosely inspired by Fox’s favorite cartoon – Dragonball Z. Anyone familiar with the legendary comic/cartoon can see the colors match perfectly with the superhuman beings, but will he get to wear these during the regular season? Better yet – is he the next Nike Basketball signature shoe athlete?

Here’s how you can ball on a budget, and still look good doing it. Nike Basketball’s business may be driven by signature models of Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and Paul George, but their catalog of footwear silhouettes is actually much larger than what’s typically reported. The Nike Zoom Assersion not only fits that bill (it’s a mere $80), but the shoes actually look nice as it draws in design cues from the Kyrie 3 and PG1. Two new colorways have just dropped on Nike.com, so get your pair quick because these sell out faster than you think.
