Nike wasn’t messing around with their visible air when they introduced the Nike Air Classic BW in the early 90s. The BW stood for ‘Big Window’ because of just how much Air Max was utilized in the cushion system. This year, we’ve seen a number of different toolings update the retro with more modern amenities from fuse to a seamless ‘Ultra’ construction with a lighter outsole unit. Today we get a look at this weekend’s upcoming Nike Air Max BW SE that utilizes the original “Persian Violet” colorway with a near seamless construction and lightweight tape mudguard for added protection from the elements. Available this Friday at select retailers, the update adds more ventilation throughout the black upper for a breezy ride perfect for the rest of summer.
